1. Obtaining information
OPEN HOUSE SPAIN, S.L. obtains information for our users in different sections of our Web, the facilitated personal character data will be incorporated into a file which is controlled by OPEN HOUSE SPAIN, S.L.
Reservations (general)
We ask for personal information on the forms of inscription and reservation (for lodgings and Spanish courses) and on the proprietor form. A user must provide the contact information (such as: name, electronic mail, passport number and address) and in some cases bank data (such as the credit card number and expiration date). This information is used for invoicing. If we have problems processing a reservation, the information is used to contact the client.
In order to complete the hotel reservation, we must communicate to the hotel the client's name, age and passport number. This information is solely used for the hotel reservation process. All the operations in relation to the credit card will be conducted by Open House Spain. No banking information will be shared with the hotel or with third parties. If clients make a reservation payment through our automatic payment system, the organization in charge of the credit card data is Bibit, Global Payment Services (www.bibit.com)
Reservations (accommodation in apartments, shared flats, bed & breakfast)
The personal information such as the name, electronic mail, passport number, age, gender and contact details is shared with the proprietor of the apartment. We advise clients to contact the proprietor regarding the use of this personal information. The information we gather is used with the sole objective to guarantee the reservation, to notify the state of the same and/or to request the client's opinion about their stay. It is not shared with any other aim. All the handling of the credit card data is done by Open House Spain S.L. If clients make a reservation payment through our automatic payment system, the organization in charge of the credit card data is Bibit, Global Payment Services (www.bibit.com)
Information for proprietors
We ask for personal information from the proprietor as part of our reservation system. The information such as name, address of the reserved apartment, telephone number, mobile telephone number and the electronic mail address is shared with the client after the payment has been received to complete the reservation process. We use this information only to contact with the proprietor for labor reasons related to their apartment. No proprietor information is shared with any third party.
2. Use of the Information
Reservations
The processing of user’s personal data is realized to fulfil the request for services supplied on our Web.
Profile
We store the information gathered in log archives to create a profile of our users. A profile is stored information obtained through preferences selected by our users. Therefore, the information is not related to the identifiable personal information of the user. We do not share profiles of the customer with third parties.
Cookies
A cookie is a portion of data stored in the user’s computer, linked with information for the user. The use of cookies is not in any way related to personal identifiable information of the user while he/she is on our web site. We use cookies with ID of session. No user information is transmitted from our Web to another Web. We do not use cookies for long term.

Log archives
Like most Web sites, we use log archives. This includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, type of navigator, Internet Service Provider (ISP), exit and entrance pages, type of platform, the date/time seal and the number of clicks to analyze tendencies administer the site, track the movements of the user and to join ample demographic information for analytical use. IP addresses, etc. are not tied to personally identifiable information.
International transference of data
For technical reasons the data facilitated will be managed from our server located in the United States, a country that does not provide a level of comparable protection as Statutory law 15/1999, 13th December, Protection of Personal Character Data (LOPD).

3. Communication from the site
Electronic Bulletin
In order to receive the electronic bulletin (newsletter) clients should register on the Web page oh-holidays.com in the indicated section. Once done, users will receive the newsletter with no certain frequency, but never more than two times per month. To stop receiving the newsletter, the user may click on the link at the bottom of each newsletter, leading to a cancellation form. From the moment the form has been sent, the email will be eliminated from the mailing list.
User ServiceWe regularly communicate with our users to provide requested services with respect to questions related to their reservation. Correspondence is via electronic mail or telephone, conforming to the user’s preference. During the departure day from the accommodation our clients will receive an electronic mail with a request to evaluate the stay and a discount promotion.
4. Option of not participating
Users who do not wish to receive follow up electronic mail during the departure day, which forms part of our information and claims policy, must contact us by electronic mail ([email protected]), or by calling: +34 93 467 37 79.
