Location Description
Kalkan was occupied by the Greeks for a long time and is surrounded by the mountain massive Taunus. Small fishing harbour and small beach in Kalkan. A few kilometers away is the Petara harbour which can be reached from Kalkan by minibus. There is a market every Thursday morning. Organized trips to the blue caves on the island of Kekova. Cosy, quiet resort, in the north-western part of the region directly by the sea, on a slope, in an idyllic position, 220 km south-west from Antalya. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Access: road 400 Dalaman - Fethiye - Antalya. Harbour Kalkan. For arrivals by plane: airport Dalaman (DLM) 145 km, Antalya (AYT) 220 km.
