Description of the Hotel
This 8-storey hotel has a total of 172 rooms of which 155 are doubles, 15 singles as well as 2 suites. This hotel was opened in 1967 and completely renovated in 1994. The hotel, surrounded by beautiful gardens with a magnificent view of the Island of Gomera, offers a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a TV corner and 2 lifts. A bar, a hairdresser and an air-conditioned restaurant are to be found within the hotel. In addition, there is a laundry service and room service available Guests arriving by car may make use of the car park or garage.
Location Description
This hotel is situated in the former fishing village of Los Cristianos. The hotel is fabulously situated amidst charming gardens and just across the promenade from the sea, thus offering wonderful views out over the ocean and the harbour. The rear of the hotel backs onto a residential street. The resort centre, with its numerous shopping and entertainment venues, bars and restaurants, is around 500 km from the hotel. It is just a short 400-metre walk to the resort beach of Los Cristianos and public transport departs from a stop directly in front of the hotel. The airport is approximately 15 km away.
Description of the rooms
The pleasant rooms come with an en suite bathroom and a balcony (with furnishings). Additional furnishings include a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a minibar and a fan. Rooms with glorious views of the sea are also available (although payment of a supplement is required).
Entertainment and sports facilities
The hotel offers guests use of the swimming pool (heated in winter) with a children's area as well as a furnished sun terrace with sun loungers and a poolside bar. From here, guests may gain direct entrance to the beach promenade. For an additional fee, guests may use the hotel's own pool table and tennis courts. Guests may also enjoy the table tennis and bocce facilities. The nearest golf course is located about 1 km from the hotel. The hotel organises a seasonal entertainment and leisure programme.
