The hotel was built in 1986 and renovated in the year 2000. It consists of 302 rooms on 3 floors of which 18 are singles, 276 are doubles and 8 are suites. The hotel offers a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a lounge and a beauty salon. It also has 75,000 m² of gardens and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant and highchairs for children. In addition, the hotel has a kids club, a playground, 2 conference rooms and an Internet terminal. Laundry services are available. Guests may park their cars in the hotel's own parking.

The hotel s located in the exclusive Puerto Banus area, only a few metres from the beach and 7 Km from Marbella town centre.
