Location Description
The hotel is situated in the Alto Minho region in Portugal. It is set on Monte Espirito Santo, looking out over Vila Nova de Cerveira in the Viana do Castelo district, very close to the Spanish border and the Minho River. One of the many advantages of the complex is its proximity to both Portuguese and Spanish beaches on the River Minho and the Atlantic coast, such as Moledo and Afife. The property is 10 minutes from Valença, 15 minutes from Caminha, 20 minutes from Monção, 30 minutes from Viana do Castelo, 60 minutes from Porto and 30 minutes from Vigo. Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is approximately 110 km away at Porto.
Description of the rooms
The one, two and three-bedroom apartments are fully equipped for all seasons. They feature wood fires as well as central heating, a kitchen, a dining and living room, a bathroom, an entrance hall and spacious balconies. A hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a satellite/cable television, a radio, a minibar, an oven, a microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board and a double bed come as standard.
Entertainment and sports facilities
This complex offers a range of leisure options, such as a swimming pool for adults and children, tennis and handball courts and other sports facilities. There is a poolside snack bar and loungers and parasols laid out on a sun terrace. Guests can treat themselves to a relaxing massage. A programme of entertainment is organised for younger guests. The area offers a number of cultural and leisure attractions with hunting, fishing, cycling, mountain walks, clay pigeon shooting, extreme sports and more. From Vigo Airport (45km/00h39): Take the AP-9 motorway and after 25 km take the exit towards Tui Portugal. Once in Portugal continue along A28 Porto/ Viana do Castelo and take the exit 14 to Vila Nova de Cerveira (N13). From Oporto airport (97km/01h07), take the A41/IC24 motorway towards the exit 1 Valenaça/ Viana do Castelo. Continue along A28 Viana do Castelo and after exit 24 to Caminha/Valença continue along the N13 until arriving at Vila Nova de Cerveira.
