Colares 12 km from Sintra: Holiday complex "Quinta da Vigia", built in 1970, renovated in 2000, 2.6 km from the centre of Colares, 20 m from the beach. For shared use: grounds 5'000 m2 with lawn, swimming pool (16 x 6 m, 01.01.-31.12.), patio, garden furniture, barbecue, children's playground. In the complex: reception, bar, lounge, fitness room. Games room, laundry. Room cleaning on request (extra). 50 m footpath to the house. Parking in the grounds. Grocers 400 m, supermarket 4 km, restaurant, bus stop 100 m, railway station "Colares" 2.6 km, sandy beach 100 m. Please note: the complex has night security. Conference room. The house are situated in the first row from the sea. Unmade ramp path to the beach. Breakfast (5 euros/per day). Complex of 11 houses. Daily change of towels. For bookings of more than a week, change of sheets.Beds are made daily. The gym has 5 machines. 6 bikes, to be booked in advance. Arrivals by public transport: train from Lisbon to Sintra, then take the bus to Praia Grande. Transfer to and from the airport/Quinta da Vigia, 50 euros for 4 people.
