Description of the Hotel
Established in 2002, the hotel consists of a main building with 3 floors and 2 annexe blocks with a total of 25 rooms. Amongst the hotel's facilities count a foyer with 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange facility, and lift access. A café, a bar, a TV room, an air-conditioned restaurant with highchairs available for children, a conference room, and public Internet access are also to be found within the hotel. The laundry service completes the offerings, and parking is available for those arriving by car.
Location Description
This family-friendly eco-hotel is located in a rustic setting amidst the untouched nature of the northeast of Sao Miguel Island. It is wonderfully situated and affords outstanding views out over the sea and the exclusive Serra da Tronqueira. Enchanting beaches and glorious hiking trails can be found in the surrounding area. The centre of Vila do Nordeste can be reached in around 1 minute on foot, it is about 10 km to the Miradouri da Ponta da Madrugada viewpoint, and Vila Franca do Campo lies some 50 km from the hotel.
Description of the rooms
The rooms and suites come with a bathroom with a bath, shower and hairdryer. A direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, a hi-fi, an Internet connection, a minibar, a double bed, and a balcony are also provided in all accommodation units as standard. Air conditioning and heating are centrally regulated.
Entertainment and sports facilities
There is a swimming pool with sun loungers in the outdoor complex. It is also possible to play golf. An activity programme is organised for additional entertainment.
