Description of the Hotel
Renovated in 2004, the hotel consists of a main building and an annexe building, each with a single storey. On offer are a total of 150 apartments, of which two are disability-friendly. A lobby welcomes guests with a 24-hour reception desk, safes and currency exchange desk. Dining options include a bar, a café, a breakfast room, a dinner room, and a restaurant with highchairs available for children. Further amenities include a small supermarket, a games room, a TV room, a public Internet connection, and a bicycle hire service with corresponding storage room. Those arriving by car may use the hotel car park.
Location Description
This attractive beach hotel lies on a slope in Vale da Azinhaga. Various shopping venues, bars and restaurants are to be found in the vicinity (100 m away), and links to the public transport lie within walking distance (about 200 m away). The beach lies some 300 m from the hotel, Faro Airport is 62 km from the hotel, and Lisbon airport is approximately 280 km away.
Description of the rooms
The tasteful apartments all come with an en suite bathroom which contains a shower, a bathtub, and a hairdryer. They are also fitted with a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a kitchen, a fridge, an oven, and a microwave oven. In addition, tea and coffee making facilities, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board, a double or king-size bed, a hire safe, and a balcony with panoramic views are also provided in all accommodation units as standard. Moreover, all apartments feature an integrated bedroom/ lounge and one or two separate bedrooms.
Entertainment and sports facilities
In the outdoor complex guests will find a swimming pool with a separate children's pool as well as a sun terrace with a poolside snack bar and both sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Sports enthusiasts may like to play a game of golf, try billiards/ snooker, or go cycling/ mountain biking. The Pintadinho golf course is approximately 5 km from the hotel.

From Lisbon airport , take highway A2 direction South (Sul). At the end of the A2, take the Algarve highway A22 direction - Lagos, Portimao, Albufeira (West). From Faro airport , take highway A22 direction 'Lagos, Portimao' (West) Once on A22 direction Lagos keep going, until you reach the exit at ?Lagoa, Silves?. Just after, at small roundabout , take the exit direction 'Portimao, Lagoa, Carvoeiro'. There is another roundabout just after, but keep following direction 'Portimao'. Dont exit at 'Lagoa Norte'. Exit at 'Lagoa Sul'. Once on EN 125 pass the first group of traffic lights. At the second group of traffic lights turn right direction 'Carvoeiro'. 250 m appx. follow strait thru direction 'Sesmarias, Ferragudo'. Once you reach 'Sesmarias' keep going on until a little roundabout and turn left direction 'Ferragudo'. 1.5 km further you will find on your left side at the corner a big sign 'Vila Gaivota', turn left and come to 'Recepçao' (reception).
