Small, picturesque resort with 650 inhabitants, with beautiful view, 22 km south-west from Portmagee (driving), 80 km south-west from Killarney. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Access: car ferry Knightstown - Portmagee 1 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Cork (ORK) 170 km. One of Europe's westernmost inhabited locations, the island lies off the Iveragh Peninsula in the southwest of County Kerry.
