Description of the Hotel
Originally built in 1859 in the style of a French chateau, this hotel has a rich and uniquely colourful history. It is believed to have been used as the English Headquarters of the French Resistance during World War II, whilst it was more recently the setting for the popular St. Trinians films. This fully air-conditioned hotel has a total of 117 rooms and its amenities include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and a cloakroom. The hotel also has a bar, restaurant, a games room and Internet access. Room and laundry services are provided, whilst guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the nearby car park.

Attractions such as Windsor Castle, Legoland and Virginia Waters are just a short drive from the hotel and London Heathrow is the nearest airport, just 15 minutes (20 km) away.
Description of the rooms
The contemporary spacious en suite rooms have a bathroom with a shower, bath tub and hairdryer and also have complimentary WIFI access, a flat screen TV with satellite channels, a radio, safe, trouser press and tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms also have a double bed, a fridge, individually regulated air conditioning and heating and a direct dial telephone. Most of the rooms have a view over the lovely grounds and the River Thames.

The Club Motivation leisure club is the perfect place to wind down or tone up. Facilities include a fully equipped multi-gym and a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, spa bath, spa and massage treatments, two tennis courts and a croquet lawn for further relaxation. From London/Heathrow, take the junction 6 exit from the M4. Follow the dual carriageway towards Windsor. Take the first left and then the exit on the roundabout and follow the A308 towards Maidenhead. Keep going past Windsor Racecourse and the hotel is approximately 4 km on the right-hand side of the road.
