Cannes is one of the most famous cities of the Blue Coast, due to the coastline and especially for its cinema festival. The city is situated in South-East France, and enjoys a warm and sunny climate that attracts many tourists and the stars of show business.
The Croisette is the principal tourist attraction of the city. It is a wonderful walk along the sea shore under the shadows of the palm trees. The Croisette has magnificent luxury hotels with international fame such as the Carlton, the Martinez or the Majestic.
In May of every year, the biggest cinema stars accommodate in these luxury hotels for the Cannes International Movie Festival, the most important movie festival of the world. From Cannes, you can easily get to the spa cities of the Blue Coast such as Saint-Tropez, Sainte-Maxime or Saint-Raphaël. You can also discover Niza and the typical interior towns such as Sain-Paul-deVence.
