Location Description
450 m. >>Historical city with 36'182 inhabitants, 83 km south from Praha, 60 km north from ?eské Bud?jovice. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Indoor pool, fitness centre, sauna, sun bed. Tabor is situated on a hill between the Jordan lake in the north and the River Luznice in the south. This town named after the Biblical mountains, was founded in 1420. The Old Town has been well-retained and presents a true example of ancient towns, thanks to its numerous alleys and partially retained fortress. Lots to see here: Kotov castle in Tabor, nearby castle ruins Kozi hradek, Stary zamek, Slemberk, Choustnik, Pribenice etc and Bechyne and Cervena Lhota castles. Typical southern Bohemian folk architecture can be found south-west of Tabor.
