Description of the Hotel
Established in 2003, the hotel comprises a total of 48 suites spread across two storeys in addition to a garden and a terrace. Guests staying here are assured of an exclusive environment amidst the charming and sunny Mediterranean atmosphere. The staff at this magical holiday paradise beside the sea are on hand to offer a hearty welcome. The hotel houses a number of leisure and spa facilities, in addition to a bar and a restaurant. Guests may also make use of the laundry service (charges apply), the bicycle hire service (charges apply), and the parking garage. Younger guests may also let off steam in the kid's club and the playground. Location Description
This hotel is located directly beside the beach (about 100 m), and is an impressive structure in the town of Borik. It lies only about 500 m from bars, pubs, nightclubs, links to the public transport network, and a bus station. The centre of Zadar in North Dalmatia, which offers guests countless shopping opportunities, is approximately 3 km away. The Kornati (Incoronate) archipelago is the most indented island group in the Mediterranean, and lies in North Dalmatia near Zadar. It include 140 uninhabited islands, islets, and reefs in an area of only some 70 km˛. There is a further jewel of protected nature in Croatia located not far from Kornati National Park: the Telačica Nature Park, which includes a spacious and deep bay of the same name on the neighbouring island of Dugi Otok. The Kornati islands are interesting and famous for their unusual forms, extraordinary relief structures and especially their high cliffs. The railway station is around 4 km away, Zadar airport about 10 km, Split airport approximately 150 km, and Pleso - Zagreb airport some 280 km from the hotel. Zagreb is about 280 km away, Ljubljana about 330 km, Munich 720 km, Prague 910 km, Maribor 380 km, Vienna some 660 km, Trieste 270 km, and Zurich around 860 km away.
Description of the rooms
The suites all come with a bathroom with a bath, shower and hairdryer. Further standard fittings include a direct dial telephone, satellite TV with an integrated radio, a hi-fi, a minibar, centrally regulated heating and air conditioning, a hire safe, and a large balcony. In addition, a large wardrobe, a small lounge with a day area, and French-style beds for the nights are also provided. Non-smoking rooms are available on request.
Entertainment and sports facilities
All hotel guests have access to the sports facilities and activity programmes offered by the Falkensteiner Club Funimation Dalmatien located adjacent to the hotel. A first-class leisure programme is offered here to satisfy all possible desires. Options available include beach volleyball, bowling, football, table tennis, miniature golf, and a total of six tennis courts (floodlit hard courts). Alternatively, it is possible to hire a bicycle and go off on a tour to Zadar or the island's mountains. A gym with the latest equipment offers guests aerobics or a personal trainer to help them keep in trim. In addition, there is a new swimming pool and the spectacular water park with indoor and outdoor pools as well as water slides. Water sporting activities are offered through the local water sports centre and include banana boating, water skiing, jet skiing, motor boating, diving, surfing, windsurfing, sailing, paragliding, catamaraning, and pedal boating in addition to a range of courses led by professionals (charges apply in all cases).
