Description of the Hotel
A truly unique experience is to be had in the hotel's 381 guest rooms and suites at this beach hotel, which was renovated in 2006. In addition to a world-class spa and wellness centre, the hotel features restaurants and bars with views of the sea, Split town and the surrounding islands. The conference and banqueting facilities, measuring some 2900 m², are the largest on the Adriatic Sea, and feature 8 meeting rooms. With a private yacht marina and casino, guests will find an array of activities to fill their days and nights. The adjoining nightclub provides live entertainment for guests' added enjoyment. Guests are welcomed into an entrance hall with a 24-hour reception, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, cloakroom and lift access. Further facilities available to guests include a café, hairdressing salon, WLAN Internet access (charges apply) and room and laundry services (fees apply). There is also a children's playground and kids' club. Secure parking spaces are available in the hotel garage for guests arriving by car.
Location Description
The hotel is located at Podstrana, 8 km south of Split, in a beautiful setting featuring 800 m of beach frontage, gardens landscaped by award-winning designer, Jim Nicolay of Hawaii, and fantastic sea views overlooking Split and the surrounding islands.
Description of the rooms
Spread across four interlinked buildings, the guest rooms are the largest on the Dalmatian coast. Designed by internationally acclaimed Italian designer, Lorenzo Bellini, all interiors have a warm and inviting ambiance. In addition to an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, rooms come with a direct dial telephone (charges apply) and a satellite/cable TV, as well as a radio, and Internet access (fees apply). A minibar is provided for an additional fee, and further standard features include a double or king-size bed, individually adjustable air conditioning and heating, a safe and a balcony/terrace.
Entertainment and sports facilities
There is an outdoor swimming pool in the hotel grounds, complete with a children's paddling section and a poolside snack bar (charges apply). For a fee, sun loungers and parasols are available poolside. Aqua aerobics classes are also offered in the pool. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the Tennis Academy, with its 4 championship courts, and the Water Sports Centre. Rock climbing, abseiling, archery, aerobics, squash, beach volleyball, pool, bocce, a gym, the Children's Penguin Club, and an entertainment team offer even more options. For a small additional fee the spa centre provides an indoor pool, saunas, steam baths, massage services, a tepidarium, a laconium, a caldarium, hot tubs, nail and pedicure studios, a solarium, meditation and more.
