Fifth floor apartment with terrace in Barcelona.

The accomodation is in a very good location. however as advertised there are 6 flights of stairs. General cleanliness is ok, however we did discover cockroaches!! Overall, ok. The best thing about it is the fantastic location.

devo portarVi a conoscenza che l\'appartamento visualizzato nelle foto, di parecchio si discosta dalla realt� in termini di : Presenza terrazza..totalmente assente a parte prendere una scala per arrivare sulla terrazza del tetto; Salubrit� bagno, ha bisogno di manutenzione; camere e cucina da pulire molto meglio. L\'unica verit� la posizione centrale � il fatto che non c\'� ascensore. La terrazza torno a dire sembra prospicente la cucina..invece � tutta da un\'altra parte 8altro piano..) con chiavi in comune a gli altri condomini...la stessa padrona si � accorta dell\'errore e si � scusata dopo che la referente , aveva capito che in Italiano c\'erano scritte cose differenti dalla versione spagnola , ma ci� che � pi� grave differenti dalla realt�. S\'intende che la proprietaria persona serissima si � presentata per chiedere scusa di tale incongruenza, ma era troppo tardi , noi stavamo partendo..

Nette Unterkunft zentral gelegen im Stadtteil Gotico, guter Ausgangspunkt f�r viele Unternehmungen und genau wie beschrieben. Das Erklimmen der vielen Treppenstufen hoch zum Appartment wird mit einem wundervollen Ausblick von der Dachterrasse �ber die D�cher Barcelonas belohnt. Die Vermittlerin der Wohnung hat f�r uns Stadionkarten entgegen genommen und nach unserer Ankunft mit zur Unterkunft gebracht :) Das einzige was uns gest�rt hat war, das die Handt�cher knapp bemessen waren (f�r 4 Personen je 1 Handtuch in 6 Tagen) und in der an sich sauberen Wohnung Kakerlaken unterwegs waren.

Das Appartement war sehr sauber und hat der Beschreibung genau entsprochen. Das Einzige, bei dem wir einmulmiges gefühl hatten, waren die Fenster...es war keine Fenstersicherung vorhanden - dies im 5. Stock mit zwei kleinen Kindern. Wir haben dann eine Lösung gefunden, so dass wir es alle in vollen Zügen geniessen konnten. Obwohl das Appartement mitten in der STadt liegt, war es extrem ruhig.

fantastic location - unbeatable. The stairs were a bit of a challenge after a day's sightseeing, but not really a problem. Would not be suitable for a family or an older age group. The one thing was the keys for the appartment and the roof terrace. It is very easy to lock yourself out - you need to be aware of this all the time - very strange lock on the front door... Would stay there again if I go back to Barcelona though.

The contact person - Rosa - was an absolute delight, she was very helpful prior and during our visit and made us feel very welcome. The apartment couldn't be in a better location. It's literally just off Placa Reial and therefore close to everything (especially las ramblas and many great restaurants). It's on the 5th floor with no lift and so be prepared for the walk, but my parents, both in their 60s felt the benefit by the end of the week! The terrace has a great view and a private table and chairs, but, think about how much time you intend to spend at the apartment as we only ended up using it very briefly as we spent all of our time out and about. The terrace could be improved with a couple of sun-loungers and most definitely with a light, as once daylight has gone you can't spend any time up there and that was the time we were in our apartment the most and the evenings were balmy and mild and it would have been great to sit on the terrace and enjoy a drink. The apartment itself is plain and in some ways dingy. It was clean with all the necessary linen etc and it also benefits from lots of windows (but no view, but that's standard) but the rooms are small and could benefit from some colour and comfort, possibly in pictures on the walls or rugs on the floor or even if the walls weren't all a dirty cream. There is one main bedroom with a wardrobe, the second bedroom also doubles up as the living room in some ways as it has a tv and a dvd player, but there is no sofa or place to sit apart from the bed and a spare single sofabed and there is no wardrobe. The DVD player only worked for half a film and then it cut out, it seemed to overheat and refused to play again for around an hour, so don't get your hopes up as we did and bring films for the evenings. We had a slight ant problem also. Ants would crawl from beneath an electricity socket, but we were vigilant with our mess and they didn't bother us. There was one other problem, it would seem that there is next door neighbour who doesn't sleep at night and can be heard very clearly through the second bedroom (my room) and sleeping didn't occur until earplugs were found. Just to warn you... However, please don't think I'm saying the apartment is bad, because it isn't, it's a perfectly liveable and likeable temporary home with its pros and cons. The main positive being its location which is nigh on perfect! We had a great time in Barcelona and would definitely come back to this apartment if we were to return.

Very nice flat with a perfect location, but the smell in the small street was discusting. All these men, who cannot find the way to the regular toilets. The city police has to do something. In Denmark it will not be allowed.

The was fine. We needed more towels because we neither did not have time to wash ours and it rained so much that it was impossible to dry them. Everything elese was fine.

Hi We stayed in the apartments for 4 nites in September 2004. Its a great time to visit the city of Barcelona because of the festive atmosphere. The alleyway that the apartment is on, is not very nice it was very smelly but the apartment was lovely (apart from the fact that we had to climb about 12 flights of stairs sometimes twice daily).

sehr saubere wohnung, zentral gelegen.dachterasse liegt ein stockwerk ueber der wohnung. einziger nachteil ist der lärmpegel und die obdachlosen, die in der strasse uebernachten und der damit verbundene müll und unangenehme geruch im treppenhaus und auf der strasse.
