Take the dual carriageway following signs for Funchal. Exit left at the signpost for Funchal/Hospital/Porto. Drive round the roundabout and take the exit marked Hospital/Avenida do Mar. At the traffic lights, turn right towards Câmara de Lobos and stay in the left hand lane on the road called Estrada Monumental until you come to the sign for the Ocean Park Hotel. Follow the signpost for Praia de Bandeira Azul.
