>>Kleine vakantieplaats in het heuvelgebied van Beskid Makowski in de Karpaten. Klein gehucht, in het dal, 70 km ten zuiden van Kraków, 15 km ten zuiden van Sucha Beskidzka, 30 km ten zuiden van Wadowice. Alle faciliteiten in de plaats. Overige mogelijkheiden op inkoop en amusement in 5 - 20 km. Wegverbindingen: station ter plaatse. Busverbinding. Babia Góra 1725 m 20 km. Maków Podhalanski 7 km. De plaats werd voor het eerst vermeld in het jaar 1410. De hoogstgelegen berg bevindt zich op 20 km afstand - de Babia Gora (1725 m). Enige routes voeren naar de bergtop. Niet ver daar vandaan is Zawoja gelegen (15 km), een interessante plaats, dichtbij het Babiogorski-Nationalpark. Ideaal voor wandel- en fietstochten etc. Sucha Beskidzka, met Renaissance-kasteel (Maly Wawel). Wadowice, de geboorteplaats van Johannes Paul IIe, is gelegen ten zuiden van Zakopane en van Juszczyn Tatry met het Tatra Nationalpark. Aan te bevelen is bovendien een tocht op de rivier de Dunajec - met de bekende hagedissen - welke door Pieniny stroomt. De tocht op de rivier begint in Szczawnica. Bij aankomst per vliegtuig: luchthaven Kraków (KRK) 70 km.
