This holiday home comes with a big terrace with garden furniture, two sunbeds, a BBQ as well as a carport for your vehicle, a closet for bikes and a playground for your children. The holiday house is quietly located in the district Olversum, close to the dike. The interior is pine-wood made and suitable for allergic persons. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with hob, ofen, fridge and freezer. There is a cosy sitting/bedroom with radio and satellite TV. Stairs lead to the second bedroom (loftbed, height to ceiling 1,60m). The bathroom is equipped with shower and WC.

Eiderstedt, in Frisian “Ääderstää”, is a peninsula 30km long and 15km wide in the North Frisias district of Schleswig-Holstein. The beaches of Eiderstedt, with their typical armchairs, are the ideal place to enjoy the North Sea. During the low tide, the sea goes so far down that you can walk for hours; the distance is enormous and offers a glimpse at a great diversity of life. This could be dangerous, so you should always be aware of the tide schedule, stay close to the sea line, and/or go out with a trained guide. The sea comes back suddenly and quickly. There are boat excursions on the high sea and the opportunity to visit seals on the sand banks. Another unique experience is going on a shrimp boat to eat freshly boiled shrimp in salt water. There are seemingly limitless cultural activities! The famous building on the Schleswig-Holstein west coast is The Westerheversand Lighthouse. Worthy of a visit is the agricultural part of the Native Land Museum in “Roten Haubarg,” the only building that is conserved as a national monument. The Haubarg is a one house farm and it is the symbol of the landscape of Eiderstedt. Moreover, there is no other region in Northern Germany with as many churches as Eiderstedt; they are especially breathtaking in the interior. You can also visit Peters House - an 1820’s grocery store, the Native Land Museum, the historic Packhaus in the Tönning Port, the Theodor-Mommsen-Memorial-Lounge in the town hall, the Ludwig-Nissen-House, the Osterfeld farm, the Nautical Museum, the Husum Castle, the Theodor Storm house, a famous German writer. For the athletic tourist, the terrain is ideal for bicycling, fishing, playing volleyball on the beach, golf, bowling, horse back riding, tennis, and surfing. You can get there by car or train. By car one must take the Highway A23 to Hamburgo and then change to the National highway B5. Trains arrive at the Husum Station, where there is a connection to other towns of Eiderstedt.
