If you have the possibility to spend some days in Moint-Roig or Miami Playa, you should not miss the following buildings: The pilgrimage church Mare de Déu de la Roca (1230), patron saint of Mont-Roig del Camp, offers an impressive panorama and is less the 4km from Mont-Roig del Camp’s centre. Not far from this church there is the chapel of San Ramón that was built in 1826 and to date protects the seamen. The old church and its belfry were constructed int the centre of Mont-Roig. And its form could be preserved since 1194. The new church of San Miguel is called "Catedral del Baix Camp" and situated in Mont-Roig del Camp’s centre as well. The foundation dates back to 1801 after the destruction of 24 houses. The sanctuary of Marc de Déu del Perió was established in the middle of the 18th century. After its reconstruction in 1909 the square evolved to an excellent place for leisure activities and open-air games.
