Country house situated in Baix Emporda, our little Tuscany, in the protected mountainous region of “Gabarres,” with a height of approximately 150 m. and amazing views of the Costa Brava, Medas Islands, Torroella Castle, etc. Surrounded by Pine Trees, diverse fruit trees, hundred-year-old Olive Trees, Palm Trees, etc. The house includes 5 bedrooms (one of them en-suite), distinctly decorated, spacious and charming. Colonial-style living-dining room with a large stone fireplace, Satellite TV, DVD with movies (also for children), bar, books, board games, and a table for 12 people. The kitchen is completely equipped with a Teak wood table for 10 people, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, etc. There is an African style bay window - view point with a telescope to enjoy the amazing views, easel, brushes and paints to sit back and relax while painting the landscape. There are two large bathrooms, one of Italian Marble. Billiards room with decorative details from Cinema. Moroccan style chill-out room made of stone, with comfortable pillows and music for total relaxation. Gymnasium with stereo system, various machines and a punching bag for boxing. Relax area with a Zen armchair with Shiatsu massage. Laptop computer with Internet access and a printer. There is also a ping-pong room, 4 bicycles, barbeque and exterior games such as: archery, Pechanga, basketball, etc. Swimming pool 4 x 8 with tropical style wood furniture (lounge chairs, table, armchairs, etc.). Exterior tropical wooden shower and water cannon for spa style massages. Palm trees and a charming wooden marquee. We receive our guests with fresh fruit. Daily cleaning, gardening and pool maintenance services. Sheets and towels for each person as well as information and maps for the surrounding area. We have a selection of pillows, foam and feather, latex and ergonomic. Pillows for the back of the neck with cherry pits, a thousand-year-old tradition. There are two loving dogs on the estate. This country house is situated on the highest point of Baix Emporda, close to the best beaches on the Costa Brava and medieval towns. The Girona airport and the Costa Brava are 20 minutes away. The Barcelona airport, 1 hour. The closest town is at 8 km. Multiple activities and interesting areas within 20 km.
Please note that in July and August you can book this house only from Saturday to Saturday.

Location Description
The small town La Bisbal D'Empordà is situated within the wonderful landscapes of the Baix Empordà in the southern part of the Costa Brava. Since the 17th century the village is a famous place for the manufacture of ceramics. The quality of the regions clay and the long workmanship tradition made La Bisbal D'Empordá become the the capital of ceramics with hundreds of ceramics workshops manufacturing ceramic plates, cups, and tiles which can be bought every friday on the weekly market. Besides the beautiful houses of the town made of or decorated with ceramic files well worth seeing as well is the ancient roman-gotic palace of the bishops of Girona, the baroque church, and the bridge Pont Vell. The village is located only a few kilometers away from some of the most beautiful beaches at the costa Brava like Pals, Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc or Begur. The area is within the Nature Park "Las Gavarres" and ideal to enjoy several outdoor activities like hiking, horse-riding and golf invite the visior for trips in the neighbourhood. The next golf-courses are 'Emporda Golf Club' (ca.10km), Club 'Golf Serres de Pals' (ca.12km), Club 'Golf Platja de Pals' (ca.14km) and Club 'Golf d'Aro' (ca18km).
