Location Description
Cosy resort with 9'000 inhabitants, in the eastern part of the region, in a convenient position, 110 km south-east from Valencia, 75 km north-east from Alicante, 8 km from playas de arena. Supermarket, shops, restaurant, bar, evening entertainment. Access: access via a good road. Railway station in the resort. Moraira 8 km. Calpe 8 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Valencia-Manises (VLC) 130 km, Alicante-El Altet (ALC) 85 km. The coast comprises of cliffs and bathing bays. The closest sandy beaches are in Moraira and Calpe. A car is essential. It is possible to practice all sorts of summer sports, entertainment and organised trips. Market and antique market on Saturdays. The famous "Moros y Cristianos" festival cannot be missed, at the end of June. During warm periods there can be a water shortage. Golf course 9 km. Theme park "Terra Mitica" in Benidorm 35 km.
