Location Description
As the capital of Spain and the first city in the country, Madrid has managed to preserve her glorious past while continuing to look towards the future. Within the museums of the city, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum stands out for more than 800 paintings, sculptures and tapestries that cover the primitive flamencos to the avant-garde movement. You cannot miss the Reina Sofia Museum, dedicated to Spanish contemporary art, including Picasso’s Guernica and works from Joan Miró, Salvador Dalí, Juan Gris and more.
