Opened in 1995 and renovated in 2004, this 7-floor complex comprises 206 guest accommodations, of which 184 are apartments/ studios as well as 22 suites. A lobby area welcomes guests to the hotel with a 24-hour reception service, a lift, a safe and currency exchange facilities. A café, a bar, a games room, a TV room, an à la carte restaurant (highchairs for children provided), a conference room and a public Internet terminal. In addition to this, a laundry service, medical assistance and a children's play area are also offered. Cars may either be parked in the hotels car park or garage.
Location description
This condominium complex offers an impressive view over the steep cliffs of Cabo Girão, directly on the Praia Formosa Beach (just 50 m away). Links to the transport network can easily be reached on foot lying the same distance away. The centre of Funchal offers a vast array of shopping facilities, bars, restaurants and nightclubs is located around 5 km away and can be reached with the hotel's free bus.

The comfortably furnished apartments, studios and suites come with a combined living/ bedroom, an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a satellite/ cable TV, a radio, a stereo, Internet connection, a kitchenette, a fridge, carpeting, a hire safe and a balcony with views out over the sea. Final cleaning is included in the price.
Entertainment and sports facilities
The hotel's grounds offer a swimming pool with a children's pool as well as sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use and a pool/ snack bar.
