Description of the Hotel
This air-conditioned hotel was built in 2002 and comprises a total of 34 rooms. Facilities include a stylish foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a café, a newspaper stand, a cosy bar and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with highchairs for infants in addition to a conference room and a public Internet terminal. Room, laundry and medical services may be taken advantage of and there is a car park as well as a garage for those arriving at the hotel by car.
Location description
This modern luxury bungalow complex has been built in an ecological style and lies in a peaceful hillside location at an altitude of some 550 m in the tourist centre of Funchal. The hotel is also just a 10 minutes drive from the city centre where guests will discover a diverse selection of shops, boutiques, cafés, bars, restaurants and nightlife venues. Guests may enjoy fabulous views out over the beautiful Atlantic Ocean from the hotel. Links to the public transport network lie just 500 m away and there is a hotel bus service running several times a day.
Description of the rooms
The spacious, luxurious rooms each come with a bathroom featuring a shower, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a CD player, Internet access, a minibar, a king-sized bed, carpeting, centrally controlled air conditioning, an outdoor Jacuzzi and a hire safe. A final cleaning is carried out by staff after guests have vacated their residence.
