Location Description
Situated 48 km to the south of Lison, within the Arrábida National Park. Caia ans the Spanish border, 189 km. Setúbal is situated on the right of the Rio Sado, surrounded by orange orchards. Important fishing harbour. Interesting things to see include the various churches, the monument dedicated to Bocage (statue of the nationally acclaimed poet), the Museum of Oceonography, the castle of São Filipe. There are tours out along the "Playas de Sado," the "Sierra de Arrábida," and to "Los 3 Castillos," or the 3 castles of Setúbal, Sesimbra and Palmala.
