Description of the Hotel
The hotel is in perfect harmony with the typical green tones of the Azores and offers everything one would expect of a modern city hotel. Opened in 2001, the hotel comprises 5 floors with a total of 163 rooms of which 1 is a suite and 2 rooms have been adapted for use by disabled guests. Facilities within the air-conditioned hotel include a foyer, a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility and 2 lifts in addition to a café, a hairdresser salon, a bar, a games room, a TV room, a restaurant and conference facilities. Fees apply for access to the wireless Internet as well as for use of the room and laundry services. There is a car park for those arriving by car.
Location description
This modern hotel is located at the heart of Ponta Delgada and is surrounded by wonderful botanical gardens. Praia do Pópulo Beach may be reached by car in just 10 minutes and it is about 20 minutes to the towns of Ribeira Grande and the park of Sete Cidades.The lakes of Lagoa das Furnas and Lagoa do Fogo as well as Vila Franca do Campo are 30 minutes drive away.

All come with an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, cable TV, an Internet connection, a hire safe, a minibar, air conditioning, heating, a double bed and a terrace.
Entertainment and sports facilities
Leisure options include 2 pools around which sun loungers have been laid out ready for use (1 is an indoor pool). Furthermore, there is a Jacuzzi, a sauna and an in-house gym to make use of and it is possible to participate in the aerobics session and to make use of the in-house gym.
