Description of the Hotel
Built in 1972 and renovated in 2004, this hotel comprises a total of 28 rooms spread over 3 floors. A garden and terrace additionally feature. Facilities on offer include a foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a hotel safe and lifts. The air-conditioned hotel also comprises a bar, a café, a TV room, a restaurant with a smoking area, a breakfast and dining room as well as a conference room and a public Internet terminal with WLAN (for an additional fee). Location description
The hotel occupies a 16th century fortress, which was built overlooking Horta Bay and was declared a national monument in 1947. From the hotel guests are able to enjoy breathtaking views of Pico Island as well as the famous harbour. Vulcao dos Capelinhos, Varadouro, Morro de Castelo Branco and Caldera are all just a hour drive from the hotel.
