Description of the Hotel
Built in 2003, this hotel that has been built beside a main road comprises a main building and an annexe block, both of which have 2 floors and have a total of 196 suites. Amongst the facilities count a 5,000 m² garden, a foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a cloakroom and 2 lifts. Within the hotel is a bar, a pub, a TV room and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with a no-smoking area and highchairs for infants. In addition, there is a conference room, a public Internet terminal, room service, a car park, a garage and a playground.
Location description
This modern hotel lies directly in Portimao's new yachting harbour. The private sandy beach is just 100 away and Praia da Rocha is some 200 m from the hotel. The centre, which offers scores of shops, restaurants, bars and pubs lie approximately 500 m from the hotel. It is just 2.5 km to Portimao and 60 km to the airport. Links to the public transport network are to be found within 500 m of the hotel.
Description of the rooms
The modern rooms each have an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, Internet access, a kitchenette, a fridge, tiling, air conditioning, central heating, a safe, a lounge and a balcony or terrace.
Entertainment and sports facilities
Guests may kick back and relax in the pool that has a separate children's pool, and make use of the pool/ snack bar, sun loungers and parasols. As far as fitness is concerned, there are tennis facilities in Portimao (extra fee), table tennis and a gym within the hotel. It is possible to play table football on payment of an extra charge and on the beach, scores of water sports are may be tried out on payment of an additional fee (e.g: kite surfing, wind surfing, jet skiing, parasailing, water skiing). There is also a season-varying entertainment programme on offer.

From Faro Airport When leaving Faro Airport take the road which joins the E.N. 125 and follow signs for the dual carriage way IP 1 - Via do Infante heading towards Portimão/Lisboa. Continue on the IP 1 towards Portimão/Albufeira/Lisboa then head towards Portimão (A 22) until the exit for Portimão. Head for Portimão Centro/Praia da Rocha going through the Cardosas tunnel which joins the V6. Continue on the V6 but now heading towards Praia da Rocha. Go straight across the first roundabout (Modelo Supermarket on your left, McDonalds on your right), go straight across the second roundabout and then on to the roundabout which has a small fountain and is next to the sea. Turn left here and follow the signs to Marina de Portimão. From Lisbon to Portimão. Take the A2 (motorway) to the Algarve moving onto the A22 for Portimão. Head towards Portimão Centro/Praia da Rocha going through the Cardosas tunnel which joins the V6. The same indications as above.
