Description of the Hotel
Renovated in 2004, this club complex comprises a 3 storey main building and a 4 storey annexe block with a total of 200 studios/ apartments. Guests may make use of the foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility, a lift and a newspaper stand. In addition, there is a small supermarket, shops, a bar, a games room, a TV room and an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for infants. Guests may take advantage of the public Internet terminal and those arriving by car may make use of the hotel car park. For younger guests, there is a kids' club and a children's playground.
Location description
This centrally located club complex lies just 100 m from the fine sand beach. Countless shopping venues, restaurants, bars and pubs as well as nightclubs can be found 1 km away and there is a daily hotel bus service that runs to the centre of Albufeira three times a day. Links to the transport network can easily be reached on foot lying about 200 m away.
Description of the rooms
The functional, renovated studios (approximately 17 m²) come with a combined living/ bedroom, a bathroom with a shower or a bathtub, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a kitchenette, a minibar/ fridge, a balcony or terrace. Central heating and a hire safe come as standard in each. The apartments (28 m²) are similarly equipped and come with an additional bedroom that is separated off from the rest of the room.
Entertainment and sports facilities
In the outdoor complex there is a swimming pool with a children's pool as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use and a pool/ snack bar. There is an indoor pool also on offer and sports enthusiasts may make use of the hard tennis courts in the neighbouring Hotel Auramar, play table tennis, join in the aerobics sessions, or play billiards or minigolf (additional fees apply). There is a seasonal entertainment programme to provide some variation for guests and various water sports are on offer from local providers on the beach (extra charges) including banana boating, water skiing, windsurfing and pedalo hire.
