Description of the Hotel
This top establishment, housed in a historical building, was refurbished in 2006 and comprises over 30 rooms. This country house hotel enjoys a wonderful setting in the middle of an extensive property composed of what were once several estates joined long ago to form the 274 ha estate of Monte of Amoreira with its abundant bush, holm oak and cork oak growth. Location description
This hotel is set in Alentejo, 10 km from Badajoz and 7 km from Elvas, where guests will find restaurants, bars, discos, links to the public transport network and shops. It lies on the road to Barbacena past the Amoreira Aqueduct. The surrounding area is not only an agriculturally active region, but also a privileged retreat for those seeking peace, natural beauty and quality of service. The famous Elvas Dolmens are to be found nearby, as well as various tours of sites of archaeological interest, and the Amoreira Aqueduct. Lisbon Airport is some 215 km away.
Description of the rooms
All bedrooms come with an en suite bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer. Satellite TV, telephone, individually adjustable and air conditioning and heating, double bed, a safe and wake up service/alarm clock are also featured. Most of the rooms face the magnificent gardens and their ornamental fountains.
Entertainment and sports facilities
