The city hotel was built in 1950 and consists of 54 rooms on 4 floors, of which 3 are singles and 19 are doubles. The hotel's facilities include a pleasant lobby with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe and lifts as well as a bar. In addition, Internet access is available for guests' use.

Location description
This city hotel is situated in a modern building in the centre of Amsterdam. Some of the rooms offer a marvellous view of Amsterdam's canals. The hotel has a perfect location very close to Dam Square, Central Station, and the red light district. The central location means that most tourist attractions are easily reached on foot. It is approximately 15 km to the beach. Shops, restaurants, bars and public transport links are 10 m away. It is 500 m to the main railway station.

Description of the rooms
The pleasant rooms include an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV and central heating. The rooms were renovated in the end of 2005 and are also air-conditioned as standard. Some rooms do not have an exterior view.
