The small medieval city of Chianni is situated in the hills near Pisa, centred in the picturesque region of Tuscany. Chianni is of “langobardo” origin and has an ancient nucleus where one can appreciate the remains of medieval houses and the fortress. Chianni is known, among other things, for its poor sulphur water, which also is named "acque della salute" (water of health.) The city is surrounded with Oak and Chestnut Trees; these forests are full of wild vegetation thanks to the small creeks. Chianni is an ideal place for visiting Tuscany. In very little time one can visit cities such as Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa, Florence, Siena and Lucca. The sea and Casciana thermal waters are located 40 minutes from Chianni. In Chianni it is possible to enjoy a calm vacation, far from the noise of the streets and one enjoy the picturesque landscape of Tuscany.
