This romantic duplex was refurbished in 2012. The high ceilings with exposed beams combined with the tiled floors give the apartment a warm and cosy feel. This property is the ideal choice for those want to feel at home even whilst on holiday.

The 50m2 apartment is designed to comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. The property is situated on the first floor of a historic building (without a lift) in the heart of the Eternal City, less than ten minutes from the Pantheon. The living room has been decorated with antique furniture and Persian rugs and is equipped with a double sofa-bed, an LCD television and a dining table and chairs. The kitchenette is slightly separated from the living room and comes well-equipped. Via the wooden staircase you will be able to reach the loft area which houses a romantic double bed. The bathroom is located on the first floor and features a box shower. You will also have a free Wi-Fi internet connection at your disposal.

The apartment is located in one of the capital’s most beautiful areas. The excellent location will allow you to reach almost all of the city’s places of interest on foot. In a few minutes you will be able to reach the famous Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi Fountain and much more. In the surrounding area you will also find shops, bookstores, wine bars and restaurants where you can sample some genuine Italian cuisine.

This apartment is ideal for those who enjoy a party, with a bar that is open every night located beside the main door.

Location Description

This district in the heart of the city is the Rome everyone knows, the Plaza Navona and its coffee shops, the little narrow cobbled streets, romantic and tranquil squares with fountains, ancient buildings and small restaurants, the magical atmosphere of the wonderful location surrounded by the river Tiber. It is the ideal district for those who want to enjoy the romantic aspect of the city, live in the centre and see the best of Rome both day and night. Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, Piazza Farnese, Via della Pace, Via Giulia are just a few of the essential parts of the city and all can be found in this area. It is an absolute joy to walk around the immense square of Piazza Navona, formerly a stadium that seated 30 thousand spectators and appreciate its impressive works of art: the iglesia Sant'Agnese in Agone del Borromini, the Palazzo Pamphilj, currently home to the Brazilian Embassy and whose gallery was painted by Pietro da Cortona, the beautiful fountains, the fuentes del Bernini, particularly Fuente de los cuatro Ríos in the centre of the square. Nearby are a labyrinth of small streets leading to the Chiostro del Bramante, the cloister inside the church Santa Maria della Pace. Nearby is the famous square the Campo dei Fiori, literally the field of flowers that was its origin before the XV Century. During the day there is still a traditional market and at night it becomes the meeting place for groups of young people who meet here to go out and enjoy the best of Rome´s night life. Centro is a lively place to be both day and night and the perfect location to stay for moving around the rest of the city quickly and easily .You can walk to the neighboring district of Trastevere, or to the street Corso Vittorio Emanuele where there are numerous bus and tram stops at the Largo della Torre Argentina.
