Building Description
The Villa di Trafiano is situated on top of a hill overlooking the plain of Florence, Prato and Pistoia. It was built by Buontalenti in the 15th century, in classic reinasseince style, for the Rucellai family (right hand of the Medici family). In the 20th century was sold to the current owners the Conti Contini Bonacosi family. Villa "di Trefiano" 2 km from the centre of Carmignano, 9 km from the centre of Prato, 23 km from the centre of Firenze, in a secluded, quiet, sunny, elevated position on top of a hill, in the green. Private: grounds 5 ha, swimming pool (above ground) (13.05.-23.09.), garden furniture, barbecue. Room cleaning on request: cook on request (extra). Motor access to the house (150 m via unmade road). Parking. Grocers 500 m, railway station "Firenze" 25 km. Golf course 8 km.
