The Villa lies at the entrance door to the famous Chianti countryside. It is only 10 km from Florence and the Airport. It is also 5 km from the motorway (A1) for Milan and Rome and the speedway to Siena. The village of Impruneta is within a short walking distance. Inside each elegant apartment there is a living room, a fully equipped kitchen area, bedrooms, bathrooms, direct phones, satellite TV, DVD players, air conditioning, independent heating systems, large swimming pool area and beautiful gardens overlooking the valley. The private cottages offer the same comforts but they also have their own private pools and gardens. In the year 2002 the Villa was completely renovated taking great care to preserve the original structure, dating from the 1500's. It offers services that include a daily cleaning and towel changing service. The beds are also made on a daily basis. Complete cleaning services with change of linen are included every third day. Breakfast is served in the ancient Loggia on request. The property also includes the owners private villa and a restaurant that is situated nearby, nestled within a small wooded area. Many different restaurants and “Trattorias” are located in the village or closeby. The reception is at the guests disposal for information, reservations, sightseeing suggestions, golf-teetimes, baby-sitters and anything else that helps the guests to enjoy their stay. Wireless Internet connection in the open areas of the Relais, Internet-Point at guests’ disposal at the Reception. The “Ugolino Golf Club” and the “Tennis Equitation Club” are 8 km away, reserving special treatment for guests of the Villa. Public transport connects the Villa to Florence approximately every 30 minutes.
NOTE: In order to book this property, the owner requests a deposit of 30% of the rent by bank transfer in a maximum term of 7 days to count from the date when the reservation has been made. The remaining 70% will have to be paid at the moment of the arrival to the flat when the keys will be handed over.
For reservations made less than 10 days before the arrival, the total payment has to be paid when handing over the keys, when one arrives at the apartment.

Location Description
At the foothills of the Apennines and divided by the Arno River, the Tuscan capital is the wonder of the Renaissance; a place where you can find the fingerprints of prominent figures such as Dante or Michael Angelo. There are thousands of works which inspired the mind and stimulated the development of humankind towards the end of the Middle Ages. Visiting Florence is something indispensable for the art aficionado, for here you will find some of the most imaginative creations of all time. The Palazzo Vecchio is the most important civil building in Florence. The construction was planned by Arnolfo di Cambio and began in the year 1299. Initially it was the headquarters for the “Priors of the Art and of the Signoria. It was temporarily a house of the Granducale family under Cosimo I of Medici, and later the headquarters of the government and the official residence of the domineering family were divided”. The Galleria degli Uffizi shelters a magnificent collection of Italian paintings, placing it among the world’s top museums. The Palazzo Pitti is one of Florence’s most famous museums; it holds Michael Ángelo’s famous sculpture "David". The Cathedral, dedicated to Santa Maria do Fiore, is characteristic of Italian Gothic architecture. The current building was designed by Arnolfo di Cambio, one of the biggest architects/sculptors of his era. The Dome, planned by Filippo Brunelleschi, has an internal diameter of 41,50m and is the major element of the Florentine horizon; the symbol of great cultural tradition and civic knowledge. Campanile di Giotto was projected by the famous painter and architect for whom it takes its name. At the time of his death in 1337, only the lowest part was completed. Andrea Pisano and Francesco Talenti continued his work, while Talenti finished the structure, repeating the decoration of the marble mitigated by the windows. St Lorenzo’s Basilica, the oldest church of the city, was created by San Ambrosio in 393. The building we see today was designed and constructed by Brunelleschi in 1423.
