The most fascinating area of Puglia is without doubt Itria Valley. Characterized by vegetable gardens, vineyards and orchards surrounding the archaic small houses made of whitewashed stone. In Ostuni you will find "Trulli y de las Torrette Valley", one of the most important centres. Ostuni, also known as Ciudad Blanca (White city), offers a unique swinging show, with its stairs and small steps, its narrow streets with arches and natural balconies. Ostuni, white as the sand of its beaches, is a characteristic conglomerate of square houses, all of which are painted in white, rising from the highest hilltop and surrounded by olive trees that are hundreds of years old. This city probably deserves to be the goal of your holidays to discover its peculiarities and treasures, its quality cooking, the land and the sea's perfume, the characteristic beauty of its whitewashed houses, nice panoramas that can be seen from any corner. A lively city, full of temperament and will to live. Bars with orchestras, faint light pubs, typical inns, restaurants... everything together makes the white city an ideal place to spend your vacations. The historic centre conserves intact a medieval structure: narrow streets, plazas, arches and nice staircases full of flowers radiate in a suggesting up and down. Walking through the old part of town, you can see the house’s intense white colour which stands out against and alternates with the faint colours of the noble buildings and churches. The mansion is just a few minutes from Ostuni's centre. Consists of (as it is defined by Ostuni's inhabitants) a Saracen Tower, perfectly refurbished, which you can access through a covered path of about 60m. Surrounded by more than 10.000m of flat terrain, rich in hundreds-of-years-old olive trees, almond trees, pear trees, cherry trees... Once you leave the car in the private parking, you can go directly to the house. You will feel an indescribable emotion when you see the Tower, trimmed by the intense blue sky. There is nothing like it. Mansion of 100m2. Covered with careful finishing in every detail. Decorated with good taste and refinement, it offers a very special sensual atmosphere. Comprised of a hall with an arch, through it you can access a small living room with two single sofa beds, on one side there is a bedroom with a double bed, on the other side there is a bedroom with a single bed. From here you can pass through a closet-dressing room to the bathroom and the habitable kitchen (table with 4 chairs). From here you pass through another arch to access the living room, decorated in Arabic style: sofas, carpets, colour pillows embroidered in gold and many diffused lights. From the living room, through a door-window (just like in the kitchen), you can access a big patio covered with a cane roof, where there are two different areas: one is a dining room decorated with tables and little armchairs and the other, is a living room area. Notes:-Prices include sheets and towels. Heating (wood consumption), in winter/spring/autumn will be calculated separately. No Credit cards or bank cheques accepted, cash only. 30% of the amount must be paid on the reservation fee and 200 deposit when entering the house. The deposit will be fully returned when the rental period is over, after paying electricity, gas and water consumption. Eventual damages caused to the house or furniture will be settled with the owner or the person in charge before check-out. Final cleaning fee of 150€.
Please note:
In order to book this property, the owner requests a deposit of 30% of the rent by bank transfere in a maximum term of 7 days to count from the date when the reservation has been made. For reservations made less than 10 days before the arrival, the total payment has to be paid when handing over the keys, when one arrives at the apartment.
