This beautiful, small town has developed into a lovely sea bathing centre in the past few years. It consists of 2 distinctive parts: the new part of twon which is situated at the sea and the old part which stretches along a slope. Montesilvano is an important art centre with various intersting evidences of ancient architecture. Lovely promenade along the beach. Bar, restaurants, shops and a number of different type of sports to take part in. It is 6 km from Pescara.
