Location Description
A small romantic fishing village (in winter 50 and in summer 250 residents) on a small island only 1 km from the northern mainland in the middle of the Corinthian Gulf. Easily accessible: 250 km from Athens and 37 km from Patras via the new Rio north/south bridge. Patras airport is also open from April-September. 3 rustic tavernas, 1 mini-supermarket, a small hotel with restaurant and the famous Lizzies yacht club. Fresh fish can be purchased almost every morning from fishermen at the harbour. Small isolated (even in summer) bays entice to swim. The sea-bed can be seen through the clear waters even at 20 m. Long walks possible over the hilly island. A natural 360° bay with small entrance provides a safe harbour equipped with a concrete pier for 150 boats. No mooring fees are being levied at the present time. Christos will happily watch your boat all year round. Picnics on neighbouring small islands. No cars on Trizonia.
