Location description
The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Liverpool. It offers good access to public transport, with Liverpool Lime Street train station just 2 minutes away, and Queen Square bus station 5 minutes away. The hotel is just 16 km from Liverpool Airport, while Manchester Airport is 57 km away. The Met Quarter and its shopping opportunities and the Walker Art Gallery are also in the immediate vicinity. Penny Lane and the Liverpool Tate Modern can reached easily on public transport.
Description of the rooms
Each of the standard rooms is finished in a basic style, is clean and tidy and comes with an en-suite bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in the rooms. An en suite bathroom and individually adjustable heating feature as standard. There are no televisions in the rooms.
Entertainment and sports facilities
The Resident's Bar serves a wide range of premium brand alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The DugOut Bar, a beer bar/sports bar with a difference, serves a wide range of bottled beers from around the world along with premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. From M62 exit M62 follow signs for city centre. Follow the dual carriage way to the fork in the road. Take the left fork then turn right into Mount Vernon which becomes London road. Follow this road to the bottom. At the traffic lights turn left, drive past the Empire Theatre and turn left into Lord Nelson street. The hotel is situated halfway up the street on the left.
If guests are intending to arrive late it is advisable to inform the hotel when booking. Alcoholic beverages are available for hotel residents after normal licensing hours on request and at the discretion of the night porter. The hotel reception is open 24-hours a day.
