Description of the Hotel
The hotel won the award for the Welsh Hotel of the Year in 2006/07. It offers 129 rooms including superior and executive rooms. The hotel has conference possibilities, as well as complimentary Internet access. In addition, the air-conditioned hotel also offers a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a lift, a lounge bar and a restaurant. Room and laundry services are available for an additional fee. Smoking is not permitted in the hotel.
Location description
This city hotel is situated on Greyfriars Road in the heart of Cardiff. The National Museum of Wales and "Cardiff Castle" are about 500 m away. The "Millennium Stadium" is around 750 m away.
Description of the rooms
Created by the designer Peggy Prendeville, each room is fabulously decorated with a range of superior fabrics and furnishings. The highly modern rooms include an Internet access, direct dial telephone and satellite/cable TV. In addition, they come with an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a minibar, a safe, ironing equipment, tea/coffee maker and a king-size or double bed. The air conditioning is individually regulated.
Entertainment and sports facilities
The hotel also offers leisure facilities with a luxurious spa area, a gym, an excellent 20 metre-long swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a steam bath as well as a beauty, massage and treatment room.

From the M4, take junction 29 (signed Cardiff E&S) and join the A48(M). After roughly 5 km, branch off to the left (signposted Cardiff Docks & E) and take the 1st exit at roundabout (A4161). Newport Road leads straight into the City Centre. Continue on to Boulevard De Nantes (museum on right), turn left onto Kingsway and left into Greyfriars Road. The hotel is on the left-hand side.
There are no car parking spaces in the hotel grounds. Car parking spaces are, however, available opposite in the NCP car park. Car parking charges cost 10 GBP per day.
