Description of the Hotel
Renovated in 2004, this luxury family and business hotel matches a baronial country estate and lies in a beautiful Baroque, herb and rose garden. This hotel comprises a total of 177 rooms spread over 4 floors in the main building and two 3-storey neighbouring buildings, of which 7 are junior suites, 11 are suites and 2 are wheelchair accessible. The hotel offers wheelchair access and guests may make use of the foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a lift, a safe, a cloakroom and a currency exchange counter. Further facilities include a café by Lake Holler, a shop, a piano bar, a breakfast room, 3 restaurants with classic German-French cuisine and non-smoking areas (highchairs available for children), 6 conference rooms, a bicycle storage facility and a car park. This charming hotel is surrounded by 200 hectares of national parkland and situated by a lake. The beautiful, romantic old city of Bremen, with its historic marketplace, the famous Böttcherstraße and the Schnoorviertel are only a few minutes away. The city centre with the River Weser, numerous shopping opportunities, the cathedral, the Bremen city musicians and the town hall is around 3 km away. Nearer to the hotel, guests will find nightclubs (around 2 km away) and the Universum Science Centre Bremen (roughly 2.5 km from the hotel). A bus station can easily be reached on foot within a few minutes (700 m) and the train station is around 900 m away. Bremen airport can be reached in 20 minutes by making use of public transport (about 7 km away).
