Description of the Hotel
On the site of the old castle belonging to the Dukes of Savoy during the 13th Century, Joelle and Georges are nobly cultivating a tradition of a warm welcome with a personal touch. Breakfast is served in the garden, where history and poetry are in complete harmony. The hotel's 45 rooms all have modern conveniences and almost every possible facility, while outside, the hotel's extensive 1,000 m² grounds and garden offer a breathtaking panoramic view between the lake and Convention Centre. Facilities include 4 safe boxes, lift access, a conference room and a bicycle cellar and parking that both cost an extra fee.
Location description
The hotel is located in the centre of Evian, with restaurants, bars and pubs less than 100 m away. The lake is about 200 m away while skiing areas lie about 15 km away. The Evian mineral water bottling factory is about 5 km away.
Description of the rooms
Merely pushing open the door to the hotel takes you on a journey from reverie to the good life. Your windows open out onto the lushness of a garden giving onto lakeside scenery. The en suite rooms have a bathroom with either bath or shower and hairdryer. Rooms have direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, ironing facilities, individually adjustable air conditioning and heating, a safe and a balcony.

On the motorway through Switzerland - take the VILLENEUVE exit 25 km from Evian. By train: SNCF train station in Evian with daily services to Paris via Bellegarde and direct TGV (high speed train) services between Paris and Evian at weekends in winter and summer seasons. By air: Geneva International Airport, 50 km from Evian. By boat: There is a daily service between Evian and Lausanne throughout the year. The crossing takes 35 minutes. The hotel is located in the centre of Evian. Arrive at the ""Parking du centre"" located below the primary school, then turn to the left to the ""P Hôtel de France"".
