In the heart of the Old Town in the beautiful port resort of Antibes on the Cote d'Azur, a two bedroom apartment, with a small quiet terrace (rare in the Old Town).The apartment is on the doorstep of restaurants, shops and local markets and is just 5min from the beach.There is a large bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine etc.The spacious lounge/dining area has British Sky satellite TV, hi-fi system (with tapes), DVD player (with films) and VHS player with tapes. Main bedroom has a king size double bed. Secondbedroom has a double bed and a single chair bed. The owner requires the payment of 30% of the amount of the rent via Bank Transfer at reservation. The remaining 70% has to be paid at arrival at the delivery of the keys. If there is less than 10 days before the reservation and the arrival, the payement must be done the day of the arrival.
Antibes is situated in the south east of France between Cannes and Nice along the Cote D’Azur. Along with the Juan-les-Pins springs, Albines is a popular tourist destination at the foot of the Alps along the Mediterranean coast. Antibes is the 3rd largest town on the Cote d’Azur forms a peninsula which stretches out some kilometres towards the sea. Yates, the town’s Yacht port is the largest in Europe and has 1700 anchor points. In the winter you can admire the two largest private yachts in the world. However there are always yachts anchored there owned by rich oil Sheiks and it’s not uncommon to see some yachts with their own helipads. Antibes is a perfect destination especially for water sport fanatics and beach lovers as the town is home to a 25 km stretch of magnificent beaches. Antibes itself has a beautiful sandy beach which offers a wonderful view of the old town. The town also offers something to those interested in history and since Antibes was the only town on the coast protected by baluarte it has been able to maintain some of its historic pieces. The castle, the bastion, and the towers were converted into museums of modern art, history and archaeology. Also worth a visit is the Carré Fort. The fortress sits on a small hill behind the port and throughout the years it was expanded and re-designed various times to protect the city. Today it is a protected monument, open to visitors and from the top you can enjoy a magnificent view of the port and the old town. Next to the museums mentioned previously is the Picasso museum located in Grimaldi castle which today hold 250 pieces of his work. In addition to this the museum exhibits work from other artists like May Ernst and Joan Miró. Finally the day ends in one of the various spots at the bottom of Juan-les-Pins where the night life is notoriously good.
