Zlin is situated 100 km north west of Brno, known for the burial place of Tomas Bata and his firm renamed "Bata". 17 km to south is the health spa Luhacovice and the protected natural site Bile Karpaty, 20 km to north west, panoramic view from the Hosty tower, 32 km, Kromeriz and archbishops palace (baroque castle, kept gardens, numerous statues, columns, water features, all awarded by UNESCO. Water fall nearby as well as other castles.
