Description of the Hotel
The hotel was built in 1765 and renovated in 2004, and consists of a garden and 50 apartments on 4 floors. The original concept for the interior design of the house was created by Jane Wilson, who is responsible for the beautiful interiors of several milestone hotels, including the London Dorchester. Unique architectonic features of the building include antique wooden rafters, frescoes, sculptures, fireplaces and vaults such as might be found in a chapel. Facilities include a lobby, a 24-hour reception with a safe, a currency exchange desk, a cloakroom and lift access. This historic hotel is located in Prague's Old Town and is only a short walk from the Charles Bridge. All the major sights of the city can be easily and comfortably reached by foot. Prague Airport is approximately 15 km away.
Description of the rooms
Each of the elaborately decorated apartments has its own unique layout and offers guests a harmonious combination of the antique with the contemporary, with loving attention paid to every detail. The size of the apartments varies between 35 and 137 m². The accommodation units are divided into two types: junior suites and junior deluxe suites. All suites are fitted with individually adjustable heating/ air conditioning, a direct dial telephone, high speed Internet, a satellite TV, a minibar, a hire safe and hairdryer. For special occasions the hotel offers the opportunity to book either an Exceptional apartment or a honeymoon suite. In addition to this the hotel takes pleasure in organising special services for guests and their business partners.
