This apartment is in a quiet residential neighborhood but if there is any noise it will reverberate in the narrow streets. The AC/heating system makes it possible to make it very quiet even for light sleepers. There is a market in a nearby plaza and lots of stores on the street to buy bread, meat, vegetables, and beverages. Don't be put off by the dingy, well-worn entry stairway. It is a well-equipped, clean, pleasant, modern apartment.

We have only words of praise for this apartment. Apart from being really nice and new, with all the equipment needed for a comfortable stay, it is situated in a very nice building, in a wonderfully picturesque part of Barcelona. Also, on the one hand the beach is 2 minutes away, while on the other there is a nice 10-15 minutes walk to La Rambla. However, this apartment might not be the best choice for somebody looking for piece and quiet - if you like the windows open, it is quite noisy, with a lot of commotion going on long into the night and starting early in the morning. The contact person - the owner of the flat - is very friendly and helpful, and what is very important for some of us - speaks English.

This apartment is excellent, the landlord is very friendly and provided good service. The accommodation was very clean and modern with everything you could need. Very handy for the beach and a short walk into the old town for great restaurants and bars.

the location was superb for beach, marina and sight seeing activities. The building itself was ageing and on the 4th floor kept you fit, but the apartment itself was modern and bright with all the facilities needed. I would recommend for 2 people, 3 MAX.

Lovely clean bright apartment. Had everything you need. Jordi, the contact person was very helpful. It was great to stay in an authentic area of Barcelona rather than amongst other tourists but still within easy reach of the sights on foot or by Metro. Would definitely recommend this apartment and would use it again ourselves. Best for moderately fit people because of the stairs. The toilet room and shower room could be tricky for larger people! Other than that it was wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment and enjoyed very much our breakfasts on the balcony with freshly bough products from the shops in the same street. The 68 stairs up and 68 stairs down were a tough job for me as I am 7,5 month pregnant but it was well worth it. Light, well organised, clean, modern equiped and decorated with taste. We definitely recommend this place.

We had an excellent stay over the New Year weekend.The apartment was exactly like the photos.The stairway was dark and narrow and the apartment is high up.It is better to take soft bags which can be easily carried.The apartment was fine for a family of three-a bit like living in the Ikea small apartment display!Jordi was lovely and we did not expect to have coffee and water given which was nice.He even gave our daughter a present which was very very nice of him. The only item lacking was cups or mugs (with handles) for tea etc.We loved being in a real working locality of the city and visiting local shops and restaurants.Even on New Year's Eve it was quiet at night.It is a short walk to the beach or the marina and only 10-15 minutes to the Born area.Local bus service is excellent also.We hope to return!

The entrance and staircase of the building are grotty but the appartment itself is very nice, clean, cosy and well equipped. It is just right for 2 persons, the toilet room and bath room are just a bit on the tiny side.

A very nice and clean appartment, even if the house was not in the same good condition as the appartment. It was nice to stay in an environment where there was very few tourists. It was close to everything.

Die Wohnung ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen, die Ausstattung ist perfekt, Betten, Handtücher etc. sehr sauber und nagelneu. Die Gegend ist für sportliche Leute ganz hervorragend, wir waren jeden Tag am Strand um zu skaten, toller Strassenbelag und am Morgen sehr leer. Jordi ist reizend, sehr hilfsbereit und wirklich ist diese Wohnung sehr zu empfehlen. Leider muss man sagen, dass die Nächte doch sehr laut sind, deshalb meine Empfehlung - Ohropax. Leider wurde die Wohung über uns Ende Oktober umgebaut, so dass mit Baulärm zu rechnen war. Wir kommen aus Berlin, vopn daher sind wir den Krach gewöhnt. Für alle Nachkommenden wünschen ich viel Spaß in Barcelona. Wenn Ihjr Ruhe sucht, geht auf den Montjuice.

Die Wohnung entspricht exakt den Fotos und der Beschreibung. Sie ist sehr liebevoll, stimmig und detailreich eingerichtet, so dass wir erstaunt waren, was man aus 32qm alles zaubern kann. Alles ist neuwertig und sehr gepflegt. Es ist zum Leben wirklich alles vorhanden (Foen, Toaster, komplette Kueche mit vielen Toepfen, Pfannen etc.). Die Anlage nimmt CDs und Tapes und über die SAT-Anlage kann man saemtlichen deutschen (und alle anderen europaeischen) TV Sender empfangen. Der Balkon ist zwar eng, aber für spanische Verhaeltnisse OK. Wir konnten zu zweit darauf sitzen. Lage ist auch Top! Zum Strand sind es gerade mal 3 Minuten Fussweg und noetige Geschaefte und kleine Restaurants direkt vor der Tuer. Zur Metro (\"Barceloneta\") haben wir ca. 10 Minuten gebraucht und dann waren wir auch schon fast im Gotico. Ausserdem hatten wir ja Urlaub Nachts hatten wir manchmal Probleme mit dem Schlafen, aber die Muellabfuhr kommt dort nun mal zwischen 2 und 3 Uhr. Fenster zu, Klimaanlage an und Ruhe ist! Wir hatten jedenfalls zwei wundervolle Wochen in diesem Appartment und koennen es vor allem Paerchen empfehlen (Achtung: die Betten rutschen etwas ;-)). Für 3 oder 4 Personen wird es dann doch etwas eng. Gerne wieder und Gruesse nach BCN!
