Location Description
Erpion, along with the 3 other villages Barbencon, Vergnies and Boussu-les-Wlacourt, is located on the "Terre de Barbencon", land which was once a French enclave. The village of Erpion nestles around its church dedicated to the holy Marie-Madeleine. The building built on the side of a hill is surrounded by a cemetary. Erpion has many interesting residences as well as the ruins of an 18th century glass factory on the Route de Froidchapelle.
