Gemütliches Studio-Apartment im Viertel Born, Barcelona

The appartment was perfect for two persons. It was located in a quiet street, but at the same time close to most facilities. Stayed there for eight days, but months would have made no problem.

Nice clean apartment, centrally located in El Borne. We found plenty of travel guides and phrase books in the flat as well as internet access, which was very useful. Perfect location for bars, restaurants, sights and atmosphere. Plenty of great suggestions from Miguel for things to do, where to eat, good wines, etc. A gentleman.

Nous avons passé 10 jours à Barcelone cet été (Aout 2007). Cet appartement est idéalement placé (en plein centre) pour profiter de tous les atouts de Barcelone. Appartement très bien équipé, propre, avec une déco sympa, un ordi+internet très pratique et notre contact (Miguel) fut très agréable. Nous vous le recommandons vivement (tout comme les glaces au coin de la rue) !

Die Wohnung ist in einer hervorragenden Lage: Man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und den Strand entweder zu Fuß oder nach kurzer Bus- oder Metrofahrt bestens erreichen. Die zentrale Lage bringt bis ca. 2 Uhr morgens einen Lärmpegel mit sich, aber das Leben folgt eben einem anderen Tagesrhythmus. Das Studio ist nicht groß, aber sauber und hat wirklich alles, was man braucht, inklusive eine gute Bandbreite an Reiseführern u.a. Informationen. Man fühlt sich in dieser Gegend auch sicher, auch wenn man nach Mitternacht zurückkommt. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit.

The apartment was wonderful! It's in the perfect location - walking distance to most sights in Barcelona, steps from the lovely Santa Maria church and a host of wonderful restaurants and cafes, 10 minutes walk to the beaches. The neighborhood is calm and safe - I lived there for a month and felt comfortable day and night. Miguel, the owner, was extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

The apartment is beautiful and everything one might need (from coffee machine to juice-maker) is provided. The street is a little noisy but the excellent location makes it well worth-while. The contact person is friendly, welcoming, responsible. An excellent choice!

Location is excellent - in a quaint, touristy old-town, right next to a medieval cathedral. Bakery right next door, lots of nice lounges nearby. The apartment is on a narrow street: so the window faces other apartments only a few meters away. The big problem was that the building directly across was being renovated, so it was extremely noisey with saws, hammers, etc starting at 8am in the morning. So no possibility of sleeping in. Miquel was great, however. Was there when I arrived at 9am, and had picked up some groceries for us. The apartment is nice and comofortable.

Great location- right in the heart of la Ribera with fun shops, cafes and bars. We could also walk to the beach. It was relatively quiet too. The apartment is lovely ....small but perfectly formed with nice extra touches such as guide books, CDs and a good variety of kitchen gear. No complaints and will definitely stay again next trip. Appartment mit viel Stil und Atmosphäre; sehr persönlich eingerichtet; viele Kleinigkeiten, die uns nach und nach aufgefallen sind. Relativ klein, aber völlig ausreichend. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Aber der größte Bonus dürfte die Lage der Wohnung gewesen sein - unschlagbar!!

Wir haben unseren 5-Tage-Aufenthalt Ende April 2005 genossen. Die Wohnung im Born-Quartier ist ideal gelegen (Erreichbarkeit der Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants, Bars und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel) und ruhig, sofern nicht schon um Mitternacht Ruhe gesucht wird.

très bon séjour dans une ville fraîche...les lumières contrastées d'un printemps naissant. Barcelone est une immense étoffe cosmopolite, bigarrée, son charme irrésistible semble rassembler tout le meilleur des pays de méditerranée.

Frankly, I was nervous about renting an apt thru the Internet. Wasn't certain if I was going to arrive and be terribly disappointed. But, this apartment was exactly as described.Clean and well cared for. And in a great section of town...similar in many ways to the Trastevere section of Rome. The contact person arrived promptly as scheduled. All in all, a very positive experience.

Accomodation was perfect however it was noisey due to the street cleaners & gas sales man. Having said that, it was for the right reasons ie keeping Barcelona clean. The apartment was very clean & comfortable. It could do with a toaster though. Great location!

Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet worden. Sie ist sehr sauber und komfortabel. Die Lage ist erstklassig, wenn einen das vergleichsweise laute Umfeld nicht stört. Uns hat es wenig ausgemacht. Der Vermieter Miguel spricht ausgezeichnet englisch, ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hat eine Menge Tips für den Besuch in Barcelona parat. Wir waren mehr als zufrieden. Absoluter Tip.

Die Wohnung ist sauber und sehr funktionell eingerichtet. Wer Altstadt und Meer verbinden will, findet eine hier eine optimale Lage vor. Die Wohnung ist klein und daher für Wintermonate eher weniger gut geeignet. Bei einem nächsten Barcelonaaufenthalt werde ich sie wieder buchen.

I was not explained how to open the hot water when I first entered the appartment. As I was very busy attending a conference that week , I unfortunately did not phone the owner until the end of my stay. He was very nice and very sorry that i had not called before and came to open the hot water system the very same day. So my recommendations is to automatically INFORM the new tenant right at the beginning how to use the HOT WATER.
